A biokineticist who treats the whole person
For more than fourteen years I've worked one-on-one with people in Stellenbosch — guiding them through injury, surgery, chronic pain and life's big changes back to confident, capable movement — and with competing athletes, from juniors to weekend racers, turning a stubborn weakness into a strength.

Evidence-based, and built entirely around you
Biokinetics is the science of movement as medicine. Every programme I design starts with a careful assessment of how your body actually moves — then uses graded, purposeful exercise to rebuild strength, restore function and reduce the risk of re-injury.
Because every session is one-on-one, there's time to listen, adjust and progress at the right pace for you. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply want to move with more freedom — the goal is the same: lasting, confident movement.
The first session is mostly questions
Your history, your scans, the sport you miss, the stairs you’ve started avoiding — then I assess how you actually move: muscle strength and flexibility, where you’re strong and where you’re not. You leave session one with a home programme, pictures and explanations included.
One body. One plan.
No recycled programme sheets. Every exercise has a reason you’ll understand, a number we can measure, and a progression ready for when it gets easy.
Progress you can point to
We retest as we go, so progress isn’t a feeling — it’s steadier balance, pain-free movement, an easier flight of stairs. Stay for years, or come back whenever your body needs me — both are exactly right.
Light, quiet — and a stair lift if you need it
The practice sits upstairs in Die Boord, looking over the garden. If stairs are exactly what you're struggling with, the stair lift carries you up — until the day you take them yourself.
