These terms apply when you book, attend, or use this website. The privacy policy is part of these terms.
Appointments and cancellations
All sessions are 45 minutes, by appointment. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be charged.
Invoicing and medical aid
Invoices are sent at the end of each month, payable by EFT (preferred), with the practice and tariff codes to submit to your medical aid.
Scope of practice
Biokinetics is final-phase exercise rehabilitation practised by an HPCSA-registered professional. It is not a medical specialty and not a substitute for medical diagnosis or emergency care. Where your condition needs another practitioner, you will be referred appropriately.
Your part
Please disclose your full medical history, current conditions and medication, and report any pain or symptoms during or after sessions. Exercise carries inherent risk even when professionally prescribed; your programme is designed and progressed to minimise it, and informed consent is confirmed at your first assessment.
Children and young people
A parent or guardian must book and attend for patients under 18, and must consent to assessment and treatment.
