Appointments & cancellations

All sessions are 45 minutes, by appointment. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged for, as the slot cannot be offered to another patient.

Fees & medical aid

Invoices are sent at the end of each month, payable by EFT (preferred), with the correct practice and tariff codes to submit to your medical aid; the account remains your responsibility regardless of the outcome of your claim, and benefits vary by scheme and plan.

Scope of practice

Biokinetics is final-phase exercise rehabilitation practised by an HPCSA-registered professional. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or emergency care — where your condition needs another practitioner, you will be referred appropriately.

Your part

Please disclose your full medical history, current conditions and medication, and report any pain or symptoms during or after sessions. Exercise carries inherent risk even when professionally prescribed; your programme is designed and progressed to minimise it, and informed consent is confirmed at your first assessment.
